What is an Upfront Payment 

An Up-Front Payment is  where an employer or an organization pays their workers  for doing certain works in advance.as a Example,Yahoo! Voices pays members to writing for their web site.Up-Front Payments not based on how well the articles ranks in the search engines or even how many visits it received. members get paid no matter what.yahoo voices upfront payments of $1 - $20 per article. That essentially means that upon submission of  articles, Yahoo! Voices will evaluate the quality of your article and pay you $1 - $20 for publishing the article to the site.

Performance Payments 

Performance Payments based on the popularity and promotion of works that members doing.Ex:-an article writer get paid to how well his articles ranks in the search engines or even how many visits those articles received.some web sites pay  writers performance payments of $1 to $2 per 1,000 views. Therefore, for every 1,000 views articles receive the writers will receive $1 -$2. This is a great form of passive income. How much members earn per 1,000 views is determined by writers clout level which is determined based upon number of articles written and total number of views to their articles.
